Mr. Daly's and Ms. O'Sullivan's film studies year long module
class got a lucky trip to Swords cinema. We took the bus and there was
excitement buzzing in the air. The movie that we watched was chosen by
the teachers and it was a very good choice. We watched "The
Greatest Showman ". Swords Pavilions was filled
with 60 friendly Loreto Balbriggan faces. We got our cinema food and
munched away during the 2 hour long movie.
A little bit more about the movie;
Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an
original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a
visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide
sensation. Starring P.T Barnum, the Wolverine star Hugh Jackman,
Phillip, the High School Musical sensation Zac Efron and Anne Wheeler
as Disney's favorite Zendaya.
The musical genre was not popular among us students but as soon as the
movie started we were all indulged into it. Personally I dislike watching
musicals but every since watching that one I suddenly started liking
them. I would give it a 10/10 rating.
